Style wise, I like to think that I'm quite versatile. One day I'll wake up and feel all Boho or perhaps Rocker chique or girly girl etc. And a lot of mornings, I wake up and feel preppy, I don't know where I get the influences from but I love that classic effortless style that instantly makes you look put together.
Ralph Lauren is probably the proclaimed king of Prepp, as a brand with a long history and an obvious red string throughout all their clothing, Ralph Lauren has managed to maintain its' classy and elegant reputation and remains to this day a brand with a very strong name.
Ralph Lauren is one of my all time favourite brands! I want pretty much everything! I own quite a lot from them since I tend to always end up wishing for Ralph Lauren clothes for christmas and birthdays. One Piece that you can never go wrong with is their classic collared shirt, I have one or two and I use them constantly! I want one in every colour since it's so easy just to throw one on with a pair of jeans and some riding boots/converse, and you instantly look fab!
I also love their more youthful and vintage-y brands such as their Denim and Supply Brand which has some really nice clothes for everyday. Both the plaid shirt and the T is from there and I think those are staples for a classic wardrobe. Also, their Blue brand and Rugby Brand contain some really nice pieces. I really want an off-white cable knit sweater, but they're $400 (mehh...), I also love a good knited blazer and the one above is peerrfect! I'll have to go to the US and find me an outlet store :P
Anyways, Ralph Lauren clothes are definitley worth the slight splurge, they last for ages! I've used my collared shirts for sooo many years now! And they still look as good as new!
Thought I'd share some Ralph Lauren-y love with you guys, I'm pretty much obsessed with the brand! (Obviously, I woke up preppy today :P)
