Fall makeup look! (quite picture heavy...as usual..)

So today I thought I'd try something a bit different. Thought I'd do somewhat of a tutorial- guide to this makeup look. It's a really simple fall look that really incorporates those warm fall colours. (Btw. The reason my skin is red in certain pics is because I had an allergic reaction to a soap I used earlier today :S) Here we go:
1. I primed my eyes with my isadora Eyeshadow primer, then I applied a dusty pink colour all over my lid ( from Chanel trio in "Tamises") and a dusty rose colour on the outer half of the lid (bareminerals loose shadow in "rose")

2. Then I applied a gold colour on the centre of my lid (from my pashion palette) and then a medium-tone brown in my crease and a dark matte colour in the outer corner (from same chanel trio). Then blended well.

3. Lined my upper lashline with gel liner (Maybelline eyestudio - best eyeliner ever!). Then lined the outer rim of my water line with a brown eyeliner. Curled lashes and applied Maybelline ONE BY ONE mascara.

4. Applied maxfactor bronzer on my cheeks, and a raspberry pink lipstick on my lips (the colour is not this bright in real life).. maybelline lipstick in "Hollywood red."

5. Voila! Pweettyy!

 Hope you enjoyed!
Next time I'll probably take pictures of the stuff I used, but I forgot today. This was really difficult because pretty much the only disadvantage with having your room in the basement is that I only have one window ( a small one, quite high up...) and not much natural light, which made this quite difficult to make. I'll go upstairs next time :)

The perfect hairbun

pic from here
Ever wondered how to acheive that perfect bun?  Well, its actually really easy, latley I've been seeing these hairstyles everywhere and the tool most commonly used for this a hair donut. They usually look something like this:

Well, naturally, I'm to lazy to go out and buy one so I googled it and I found a really easy way to make your own. All you need is a pair of nylon socks, I know, a bit wierd right? But it works really well. Find out in detail how to make one here.

How to use a hair donut:

Step 1- Brush out your hair.
Step 2- Put your hair in a ponytail where you want the bun to be.
Step 3- Put the hair donut on top of the ponytail.
Step 4- Spread your hair over the pony, in a way "flipping your pony over and covering the donut. Then grab another hair tie and put it around the bun-
Step 5- Grab the excess hair and twist it around the bun and pin it down. Et VOILA!

I've been doing this a lot these past few days and it seriously takes less than 2 minutes! Perfect for school, I like to twist my bangs back and incorporating them into the bun.

Do you like this kind of hairstyle?
